Forehead, or brow lift, may be combined with facelift or eyelid surgery, and laser resurfacing. The goals of the operation are

• elevate the eyebrow from a low position, to a more natural one
• reduce frowning
• reduce deep creases

The surgery can be done through  incisions in the scalp, or with endoscopes. There are indications for the 2 methods, but my preference is for the open "coronal" technique.

The surgery requires general anaesthetic and is seldom done as an isolated operation. Almost always it will be combined at least with eyelid surgery, or with facelift. The browlift will add about 1 extra hour to a facelift.
